Presentation
Launched in 1992, the PHARMED program covers the entire drug development process, from drug discovery to market access. It is intended to provide specialist training for various roles within pharmaceutical companies, CROs and regulatory agencies. It is suitable for physicians, pharmacists, doctors in veterinary medicine and those with post-graduate qualifications in life sciences.
The program was reviewed and updated to incorporate the latest innovation and new developments in the sector.
PHARMED is recognized as a Centre of Excellence by PharmaTrain.
Program - 20 credits
- Module 1: Drug development, with a focus on the evolving healthcare environment
- Module 2: Pre-clinical to First-in-Human studies
- Module 3: Clinical studies: planning, managing and gathering data
- Module 4: Data evaluation and biostatistics
- Module 5: Registration and pharmacovigilance
- Module 6: Health economics and the biopharmaceutical market
- Elective module
Assessment
A “Certificate in Pharmaceutical Development Sciences” is awarded to candidates who successfully pass the three-part examination:
- Six assignments
- Multiple choice exam
- Oral exam on the full range of topics covered by the program
Participants who do not want to sit the exam will receive a certificate of attendance.
