Go4Biotech@data is a training program designed exclusively for jobseekers.
Its aim is to train new talent capable of rigorously using data science in the biotech field.

I. Data Science techniques
300 hours theory and practice
- Introduction to Data science in Health and Life sciences
- Data collection in Health and Life sciences
- Statistical modelling
- Machine learning
- Introduction to Large Language Models
- Python for Data science (manipulation, visualisation & analysis)
- Introduction to cloud computing
- Regulatory and security frameworks (GDPR and cybersecurity principles)
- Data Integrity
- Soft skills (change management, digital transition and communication, job research)
II. Data Science & Biotechnologies
160 hours theory and practice
- Overview of digital maturity in biotechnologies
- Fundamentals of cellular and molecular biology & bioinformatics
- High-throughput techniques applied to genomics, epigenomics, proteomics and metabolomics: description of technologies and applications, associated data analysis (with python, R software)
- Image processing and associated data analysis
- Bioproduction and associated data analysis

Mid Sept 25 to end of March 26 (professionnal project included)
Duration
- 460 hours of training towards a professional practice
- 360 hours dedicated to a professional project
Location
- ULB-HeLSci Gosselies & remote
- Professional project partly on the company or institution’s site
Admission
Target Audience
Master/PhD OR Bachelor with experience In Life Sciences, Human Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering Sciences
Pre-requisite
B2 English and French level (Training is 75% in English and 25% in French)
Affinity with programming and/or statistics
